Selling Your Property?
In order to ensure the proper recording of your real estate transations, this form must be completed and received by the NBC Customer Service Department at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to a property closing. The NBC will not provide balance information unless a completed request for closing form is received.
It is important that all requested information is provided, including an actual water meter reading obtained within seven (7) days of the closing. The water meter reading is always required unless the closing is for a foreclosure or refinance and a reading cannot be obtained. A separate request must be made for each account associated with a property.
Within forty-eight (48) hours, the NBC Customer Service Department will fax or e-mail a closing letter to the requesting party stipulating the charges due and the service period they cover. The balance will remain in effect for two (2) weeks from the date of the letter. After 2 weeks, late charges will accrue if the balance remains unpaid.
When filling out this form, please do not use an ampersand "&" in any of the information entered.
