The position is responsible for the NBC flow monitoring program throughout the sewerage collection system. Responsible for monitoring all flow meters for accuracy, performance, alarms and other related tasks to ensure the integrity of the data. Responsible for preparing reports on data collected, evaluating improvements and/or changes to improve equipment, software and/or data integrity. Review and quantify flow volumes for various purposes: overflow events, capacity evaluations, bypass pumping needs, and other collection system needs. Review flow monitoring and operations data of the sewerage collection system and prepare reports, charts and graphs as needed. Monitor the Web-Based Notification System and alarm formula to ensure flow monitoring data presented on the website is accurate.
Provide assistance to other NBC Departments, as needed. Conduct site visits at various collection system points to support the flow monitoring program. Manage vendors and/or other staff to provide support services for the flow monitoring program. Perform field visits which can include performing physical activities to maintain or service equipment within skillset. Assist in the preparation of material, development of documents and review of submittals for the solicitation of services to support the NBC sewerage collection system. Assists with technical review of contract documents to support the Permitting, Engineering and Construction Departments. Performs other duties as assigned, within skill and experience capabilities.
