Real Estate Closing

To ensure the proper recording of your real estate transactions, this form must be completed and received by the NBC Customer Care Department at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to a property closing.  Please note the following:

1. Closing information will only be provided to a party with recorded interest in the property or a representative of the property seller or buyer.
2. An actual water meter reading within seven (7) days of the closing date is required except for foreclosures or refinancing.
3. If multiple properties are being sold, a Real Estate Closing Request form must be submitted for each property.
4. NBC will fax or email the closing letter with the charges due and the service period. The balance is in effect for two (2) weeks from the date of the closing letter, after which late charges will accrue if the balance is unpaid.
5. The account of the property seller is billed $30.00 for the processing of each closing request.
